American Fisheries Society

   This society is the oldest and largest professional society representing fisheries scientists. Although the organization is not focussed on the salmon fishery in particular, it does contain a useful collection of online journals, publications, and a useful guide to fisheries education resources for grades K-12.

Southern Southeast Regional Aquaculture Association (SSRAA)

   The purpose of this Association is to enhance fisheries in Southeast Alaska. It operates 4 hatcheries in southern SE Alaska producing chinook, coho, sockeye and chum salmon. The site contains information about smolt releases as well as predictions and data about salmon returns.
